Kelvin Capital leads £1.3million investment in to new portfolio company
Dyneval has developed innovative technology which provides an easy-to-use, automated, and portable instrument for semen analysis. The Dyneval solution is becoming the gold-standard in semen assessment, and can be used by anyone, anywhere.
The average UK dairy farmer is losing £37k each year due to poor conception rates which have fallen by 20% over the past 40 years. Current methods for semen assessment used on farm generate errors and across the industry there is no quality control standard for vets, farmers, and AI technicians to check semen quality before reproduction.
Dyneval, led by CEO Tiffany Wood and CTO Vincent Martinez, who between them have over 30 years of experience studying complex fluids are supported by a strong board with Chairman Richard Cooper, and non-exec Directors Jim Dobson and Stuart Maclennan, all who have a wealth of experience of growing businesses within the agri-food sectors.
The round, which was led by Kelvin Capital was supported by Gabriel Investments, Par Equity and co-investment partners Scottish Enterprise.
