Kelvin Capital Lead £1.5m Funding for Biotangents Ltd

After presenting at our November 2018 showcase, we successfully completed an oversubscribed round of funding for our portfolio company Biotangents Ltd.  The team have been developing the “next generation of molecular diagnostics”.  Biotangent’s innovative Moduleic Sensing, proprietary isothermal amplification technology, allows the simplification of protocols, the miniaturisation of equipment and the delivery of point-of-care diagnostics.

This latest round of funding will allow the company to launch their developed products in to the market and continue the progression of the technology for use in other areas.
