Kelvin Capital enjoys record year with £12.5m of investments (The Times)
A Scottish investment syndicate has had a record year after putting £12.5 million into companies across its portfolio.
Kelvin Capital said the figure for 2019 was up from £10.5 million on the previous year and the largest total since it was founded in 2009.
The group, which is based in Glasgow, has 250 members including some from around the UK, Europe and the Far East. It typically invests in growing and early-stage businesses alongside other angel syndicates and venture capital firms.
